米国の臨床・検査標準協会。米国の臨床検査標準協議会（National Committee for Clinical Laboratory Standards : NCCLS）が2005年１月１日に名称変更したもの。臨床化学及び毒物学、臨床検査、血液学、微生物学、標準、指針等を策定し、医学検査や医療サービスの価値を高めるための活動を実施している。
