ISOの規格作成の専門委員会。例えば、TC 176は品質管理及び品質保証（Quality Management and Quality Assurance）、TC 198はヘルスケア製品の滅菌（Sterilization of Health Care Products）、TC 210は医療機器の品質管理等（Quality Management and Corresponding General Aspects for Products with a Health Purpose including Medical Devices）、TC 212は臨床検査と体外診断検査システム（Medical Laboratories and in vitro Diagnostic Systems）、TC 215は保健医療情報（Health Informatics）の専門委員会である。
